Who We Are
We believe the expertise within the Montessori community is worth sharing and our goal is to spread the wisdom of Montessori through publishing, research and outreach; and by maintaining an online space for connection and sharing. Our goal is to bridge the gap between Montessori and special education and empower teachers for the benefit of the general public.

David Wofford
David Wofford serves as IASME Board President and also serves as Co-chair of Rotary Nature Center Friends, a non-profit dedicated to supporting the Lake Merritt Nature Conservancy in Oakland, California. He works with youth at the lake and around the San Francisco Bay Area.

Roberto Vasquez
Roberto Vasquez lives in Santa Rosa, California and has worked as a book editor and writing tutor for over a decade. His literary skills have helped create and inspire many books.

Joe Campbell
Joe Campbell is Executive Director of the Institute for the Advancement of Montessori and Special Education (IAMSE) and is ex-officio member of the board. He lives in Sebastopol, California.
